Do you want one word or the whole damn dictionary?
The “word of the year” is a concept (dreamed up by Christine Kane) which involves setting a one-word intention for the year. However, I tend to use this words as prompts to check in with myself, to make sure I’m on track to achieve what I want from the world. This year, I’ve got 3:
Chill: I want to stop driving myself into the ground – I have a tendency to throw myself ALL IN, consequences be damned!
Change: Last year, I found myself coasting along quite a lot. I let myself be content hiding away behind the scenes, doing my client work and avoiding any of the big projects that could bring me a different kind of success.
Cha-ching: I’ve got a couple of big expenditures on the horizon (a.k.a. a house and a wedding) so this year I want to a) be discerning about what I spend and b) focus on work that brings in the money I’d like to be making.
