In this episode, I'm talking to my very own business bestie, Tara Collins, (because, who better to address this topic with?!)
If you work from home and you’re on your own so much, you do need people there that you can just talk to, and yammer on with and vent to sometimes.
Sometimes you need to bring your boundaries down.
Once the initial euphoria of “I work from home and no longer have to wear a bra” wears off, it’s easy to feel isolated. To feel a bit mad.
An important thing to remember is that we decided to start running our own businesses for a reason, we didn’t want to be tied into the rat race. We didn’t want to be doing all of these things that might be negative. We want to do the stuff we want to do. We want to have fun. We want to have the freedom to be braless or move to Spain or whatever it is. And that has to be enjoyable, it can’t just be slog, slog, slog all the time.
